SafeSpace is a crises alternative service offering Peer Support that works in partnership with our statutory mental health team.

SafeSpace is here for YOU, we are a pioneering alternative approach to addressing mental health crisis in our own community supported by people with lived experience. 

People are offered a safe, homely enviroment with fast access to support at a time when it is needed the most.

Our passionate and trained peer supporters stand ready to lend an empathetic ear and provide guidance based on their own lived experiences. 

Through open and honest conversations, we create a sense of belonging and understanding, empowering you to find the strenght within yourself.

Recognising that every person's mental health journy is unique, we offer a range of specialised support servecies to meet your individual needs. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression or any other mental health challenge, our diverse programs and resources are here to guide you toward healing. 

From one-on-one sessions to group activities, we strive to foster a sense of community and connectedness. 

Its a place to be listend to by people who have walked the walk, make mmediate and long term plans, receive face-to-face appointments, telephone support, somewhere to take a step back from crises situations and have time to think clearer.

The service operates 7 days a week from 2.00pm - 2.00am, 

365 days per year.
